During WW2, leather was scarce and was requisitioned mainly for military usage. Equipped only with their imaginations and readily available materials, the craftsmen began to create new typologies of shoes using rope, straw, cork and wood.

This model is hand-braided raffia and the platform consists of layers of braided raffia stitched together.
The buckle is in natural wood. Made In France.
